Banana Bread

It's my go to dessert when my vegan friends come over.

Ingredients

Makes one loaf.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F)
  2. Mash bananas until roughly smooth
  3. Mix in sugar, 65g brown sugar, oil, and vanilla
  4. Mix in flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
  5. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts
  6. Grease a 9"x5" bread pan and lay a strip of parchment paper longwise. Transfer batter into pan and sprinkle remaining brown sugar on top.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in center comes out clean. If it smells burnt, it has been too long.
